Experience : Learnt transmission and scanning transmission electron microscopy (TEM, STEM) under Jacques Dubochet and Andreas Engel.

Aim of the project: To decrease contamination and etching under the electron beam of the scanning transmission electron microscope, to allow the mass of a protein/protein complex to be accurately determined from its electron scattering power.

Side project: Spreading of DNA on carbon supports by glow discharge procedures for subsequent electron microscopy.
